A Mexican American Is The First Latina President Of Harvard Law Review

Priscilla Coronado has been named President of the Harvard Law Review, one of the most prestigious law journals in the world. Born to Mexican immigrants, the 24 year old is the first Latina to hold the position in its 135-year history.

According to NBC News, “in an email Sunday that her experiences growing up as a Mexican American have informed her perspectives and that she wanted to “work hard to show how being a Latina is an important part of who I am.”
